About the Firm

Nelson Kinder + Mosseau PC (NK+M) devotes itself to trial and arbitration work from offices in Boston, Massachusetts and Manchester, New Hampshire. A remarkable roster of national and regional clients trusts the firm to handle their litigation and arbitration matters throughout New England, across the nation, and worldwide.

Since it was founded in 1991, the firm has generally restricted its practice to litigation, including construction arbitration. More recently, the firm has broadened its range of services to include counseling and transaction-related advice in the fields of environmental compliance, employment practices compliance, intellectual property, and construction contracting. Starting with five lawyers in 1991, we now employ over thirty attorneys, and multiple paralegals.

Our largest practice group serves the construction industry. We also have practice groups working in the fields of employment, bankruptcy and insolvency, environmental law, products liability, and toxic torts. We represent energy and utility companies, non-profit institutions, members of the food & hospitality industry, and manufacturers, as well as lawyers and medical professionals in malpractice cases.

Approximately one-third of the firm’s practice involves cases originating in New Hampshire. Another one-third of the practice involves cases in the other New England states. The balance is national or international matters, in trial courts and before arbitration panels.

“Your wisdom and counsel guided our company in its hour of need. You showed that you really understood our business and our place in the industry. I look forward to working with your firm again.”

In-House Counsel, Manufacturing Company.
