Bankruptcy & Insolvency

The NK+M Creditors Rights Group protects and enforces creditors interests through commercial litigation, bankruptcy proceedings, and non-bankruptcy workouts within New England and across the United States. We represent institutional creditors who need innovative and cost effective solutions to both the everyday and esoteric issues that arise when large amounts of money are at stake.

The attorneys in the Creditor's Rights Group assist clients with loan analysis, pre-bankruptcy restructuring and planning, purchasing and enforcing secured positions, and selling assets in liquidations. Our attorneys are well-versed in the legal, business, and practical issues affecting institutional creditors. We understand that swift action is often necessary to protect creditors' positions, and have the business and financial backgrounds needed to effectively and efficiently represent clients in complex litigation and transactional matters.

When necessary, our attorneys work to protect clients' rights to payment and future judgments by obtaining prejudgment remedies such as attachments and other injunctive relief. We are responsive to client concerns and keep clients closely apprised of all developments to achieve superior results, while controlling costs.

Areas of Practice:
