In practice for over thirteen years, Catherine specializes in representing private employers, municipalities, and police officers and other government officials in employment, civil rights, and other disputes. She started her career as a felony prosecutor before moving into private practice seven years ago. Although experienced in resolving matters through dismissal, summary judgment or settlement, Catherine has also tried approximately fifty jury trials, as well as numerous bench trials and other evidentiary hearings.

Catherine speaks regularly on topics related to her practice, including Police Liability, Law Enforcement Obligations under the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA), Defamation Law, Workplace Discrimination and Harassment Claims, the Family and Medical Leave Act (FMLA), the Fair Labor Standards Act (FLSA), and Employee Privacy Rights. She wrote the chapter on Rehabilitation Evidence in MCLE’S A Practical Guide to Evidence in New Hampshire.

Since 2007, Catherine has served on the Board of Directors, Executive Committee, and Public Policy Committee of the Brain Injury Association of New Hampshire. She is also a member of the New Hampshire Bar Association’s Committee on Cooperation with the Courts. In 2010, Catherine was named in Super Lawyers magazine as a Rising Star in the area of Civil Rights/First Amendment Law.
