John started his legal career in the trial department of a large firm in Boston where he worked on many complex civil litigation cases. He also served as a Special Assistant District Attorney in the Middlesex County District Attorney's Office. John was a homicide prosecutor in the New Hampshire Attorney General's Office for more than five years. During that time, he handled several high profile murder cases for the State of New Hampshire.

Since joining the firm in 1999, John has focused his practice in the area of professional liability defense and other civil matters. He has also represented many attorneys in the defense of ethics complaints. John has extensive appellate experience and has briefed and argued more than fifty appeals to the New Hampshire Supreme Court.
