Mark has more than twenty-three years of experience as a courtroom advocate. His practice focuses on the defense of physicians and hospitals in medical malpractice litigation. Mark also has extensive experience in commercial litigation, general liability, products liability, and white-collar criminal defense.

Mark began his career in the litigation department of a large firm in Washington, D.C. and then spent six years as a homicide prosecutor for the New Hampshire Attorney General's Office before joining NK+M in 1998. In addition to his trial work, Mark is an accomplished appellate lawyer, having argued more than forty appeals in the state and federal courts. He has lectured on trial advocacy at the Franklin Pierce Law Center and the New Hampshire State Police Academy.

Mark speaks Italian and is an avid fan of the Italian national soccer team.

In law school, Mark served on the editorial board of the University of Virginia Law Review.
